Global Security Night: Wearin’ receives the Jury’s Favorite Award in the “Innovative Security Suppliers” category

September 08, 2026

“A great product, a great idea”: this is how a member of the jury described the Wearin’ solution, which was awarded the Jury’s Favorite Award (Prix Coup de Cœur) in the “Innovative Security Suppliers” category at the 2026 Global Security Night (Nuit de la Sécurité Globale), held in Paris on September 28.

“We connect security agents, firefighters, lone workers, and law enforcement officers with physiological and environmental sensors,” explained Daniel Daguerre, Wearin’ Commercial Director, when receiving the award with Maxime Projetti, Wearin’ Director. “When an incident takes place, all the data collected in real time allows us to locate, understand, and decide on the appropriate response.”

An open, modular and evolutive platform built around operational needs

The Wearin’ IoT platform was designed and engineered around the daily realities and operational needs of intervention personnel in the law enforcement, security, first response and lone worker sectors.

In high-risk situations, such as those law enforcement and security agents encounter, every second counts. Wearin’ integrates lightweight, easy-to-use connected sensors and devices into agents’ gear to capture real-time data, without compromising mobility, functionality or comfort.

The AI-driven platform provides two-way data flows, automatic alerts and physiological-based alarms, which are intended to improve unit coordination and response times. A digital image of each agent increases situational awareness and supports tactical decision-making by Command and Control based on real-time data. Predictive analytics are used to help avoid risks before they occur.

For law enforcement officers for example, Wearin’ engineers worked with the French Gendarmerie Nationale (DGGN) to develop a connected ecosystem that automates critical alerts, enhances field coordination, and transforms raw activity into structured data – supporting safety, responsiveness, and strategic clarity at every level.

Six capabilities have been integrated within an open and scalable all-in-one system:

  • Pursuit Detection uses AI to detect when an officer is sprinting and automatically alerts command, with live video and the officer’s location.
  • A discreet, ergonomic SOS Button sends an immediate alert and location in covert or high-stress situations.
  • The Man Down function automatically detects unresponsive officers and streams their location and video to command so that assistance can be sent.
  • During alerts, Live Location shares the locations of the officer and the team, along with video, to support real-time, targeted coordination.
  • Dynamic Geofencing creates a geofence centered on the team that triggered the alert, mapping units and equipment to help deploy backup more precisely.
  • Audio-Video Streaming triggers live audio and video from the entire team when an alert is raised, giving command an immediate overview of the situation.
